Is the locator suitable for each car?
The locator works with cars equipped with a standard OBD2 connector and a 9-35 V installation. Before buying, you should check whether the car has an OBD2 port and whether there is enough space around it to connect the device.
Where is the OBD2 connector located?
On most cars, the OBD2 connector is located under the dashboard on the driver's side, in the area of the steering wheel, fuse box or pedals. The exact position can be checked in the vehicle manual.
Do I need to install the locator by a specialist?
No. StealthTrack ™ Drive works in a Plug and Play system. Just put your SIM card in, connect your device to the OBD2 connector, and add it to the app.
Does the device require a SIM card?
Yes. The locator needs an active micro-SIM card with support for 2G network, data transmission and SMS. The PIN code must not be enabled on the card.
Can I use my own SIM card?
2. You can use your own Micro SIM card or choose the option with the card offered in our store. Your own card must have active data transmission and work on a 2G network.
How much Internet does the locator consume?
The device typically consumes about 20 MB of internet per month. The actual consumption depends on the frequency of position transmission, the number of passes, and the set notifications.
Will the locator be visible in the car?
The device looks like a standard car charger, so it doesn't attract attention like a classic GPS tracker.
What happens when a car enters a garage or loses range?
If there is no satellite signal, the device may use a less accurate LBS location or show the last known position. The trip data can be transferred after the connection is restored.
Can I check the car's previous routes?
Yes. In the app, you can play your trip history and check your car's routes, stops, and speed. The available history period depends on the platform settings.
How does the Geo-Fence function work?
Geo-Fence allows you to mark a virtual area on the map, for example, around a house, company, or parking lot. After crossing the border, the device can send a notification to your phone.
What alerts does the locator support?
StealthTrack ™ Drive can inform you, among other things, about vibrations, vehicle movement, speeding, leaving the zone, disconnecting the device, and starting or stopping the engine.
